Our Technical Working Group on Scope 3 Emissions (TWG3) connects staff at CICan member institutions focused on reducing campus-related greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
What are Scope 3 Emissions?
Scope 3 emissions are indirect emissions from activities not owned or controlled by your organization but that impact its value chain. These often represent the majority of your institution’s total GHG emissions, including waste management, transportation, and procurement.
Benefits for You: Why Join TWG3?
TWG3 is a pan-Canadian community of practice where you can:
- Exchange Knowledge: Share and learn successful strategies on Scope 3 emissions reductions.
- Collaborate: Work with other institutions to leverage collective expertise and resources.
- Get Support: Bring your challenges and questions to the group to get curated solutions and responses.
- Access Resources: Help create and disseminate tools, guidelines, and resources tailored to your needs in reducing Scope 3 emissions.
- Network: Connect with peers across Canada to gain insights and support from others facing similar challenges.
